Steven Guzman, a 21-year-old Latino, was shot Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the 16600 block of Eureka Avenue in Paramount, according to Los Angeles County coroner's officials. He died the next day, about three hours later.
Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner's office, said Guzman was shot at a residence about 10 p.m. and taken to a hospital, where he died shortly after 1 a.m.

tomorrow its two months since youve been gone,and its still pretty hard to accept things the way they are.i see your picture here and my eyes get watery cause i have pain for your lost,for me you was a kid u was like family,were gonna miss you so much,your smile and most importantly your friendship.

Steven i cant believe this happened to you!!...i know its been a long time since i last seen you but i remember back in the day when i use to hang around your pad you were the quiet one from your 2 other brothers you just seemed like a good guy that stayed out of trouble..im sorry to hear this news. Dammm im seeing this and i cant believe it. I cant believe that your gone and it hurts so much to except reality.
I MISS YOU SO MUCH STEVEN, SO MUCH.
We were one in two, always here and there, inseparable. Yes, we had our up and down but we always faced them together and i dont regreat one single moment i had with you. You were my friend, my partner, my life. I swear to God and you know i tryd my best to change your destiny, but God need it you and i couldnt fight with that.
I may not see you with open eyes but in my dreams your always there, that comforts me to know that im not alone, that your taking care of me like you always did.
