Steven Milrot, 51

Steven Milrot, a 51-year-old Latino, died Thursday, May 19, seven days after he was shot in the 16600 block of Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Milrot was shot after getting into an altercation on May 12 at 3 a.m., said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office. Winter said described the individual with whom Milrot fought as an "unknown person."

Milrot was taken to a hospital, where he died seven day later at 1:20 a.m., Winter said.

The coroner's office had no other information about the killing.
