Steven Keith Toole, 44, a white man, died from blunt-force head trauma at Long Beach Memorial Hospital about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18.
According to Cypress police, Toole was knocked unconscious when he was struck in the head with a pool cue during a fight at Breakers bar at 4360 Lincoln Ave. in Cypress about 3:50 p.m., March 17.
Cypress police officers responded to a call of two men fighting inside the bar. Upon arrivial, officers found Toole on the ground and not breathing.
Richard Lee Thompson was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Thompson may be charged with one count of murder.
