Steven Verne Bogue, 63

Died Oct. 2, 2012

Steven Verne Bogue, a 63-year-old white man, was found dead Tuesday, Oct. 2, in his cell at Antelope Valley State Prison in the 44700 block of 60th Street West in Lancaster, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Bogue’s cellmate is suspected of killing him, authorities said. Prison officials identified Damian Reguera, 40, as the alleged assailant.

Authorities discovered Bogue unresponsive in their cell. Coroner's officials said Reguera stated he "killed him." Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said the victim died from manual and ligature strangulation.

Bogue arrived at the prison in July 2003 on a Siskiyou County conviction of assault with a deadly weapon and was scheduled to be released in July 2014.

Reguera arrived at the prison in May 2010 after being convicted of voluntary manslaughter in  Los Angeles County, officials said. He was scheduled to be released in May 2048.

Anyone with more information about the killing is asked to contact the L.A. County sheriff's homicide bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

I don't know what the situation was here , but one thing is you never tell anyone in Prison when you come out ... is not good . This happen a while back their was this Girl telling everybody in prison when she was coming out as soon as she got out she was just walking out of Prison when she got shot in the head . Maybe someone didn't like her and send out that message .

What was Steve's Crime?
did it had something to do with child or under age sex? if it was , the inmate just followed orders if he didn't do it , his family was going to pay. that's the way how prisons work . No child molesters are allowed!!
