Thomas Rodriguez, 18

Thomas Rodriguez, an 18-year-old Latino man, was shot outside Alberto's Mexican restaurant at 1304 W. Pacific Coast Highway about 2 a.m. Sunday, March 16.

Two groups of men were involved in a fight inside the restaurant as it was closing. The fight escalated in the parking lot, where a Latino man pulled out a gun and fired several shots.

Rodriguez was mortally wounded and was taken by ambulance to UCLA-Harbor Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:35 a.m.
