Tyrone Taylor, an 18-year-old black young man, was shot during a gang fight in an office complex parking lot behind a Denny's restaurant at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, July 15.
Taylor had come with friends to the crowded Denny's at 500 East Carson Plaza Drive, and encountered a rival gang group. The two groups faced off in the parking lot.
There were shots fired from both sides, striking one member of each camp, although Taylor was the only one to die. The other black young man who was shot was treated at a hospital and released, said Sheriff's Sgt. Mitch Loman.

Damn Tyrone, I knew you personally and it saddens me to find out that the rumors about your death were in fact true. I love you man and I know you in a better place now. We all miss you. Remember the Twin Towers, LoL...

I'm sitting here crying I've looked for u since are last conversation when u stayed st the boys and girls club.I didn't want to believe that u were gone.YOU Mr.TAYLOR touch my soul u was my first love.I still can here your voice singing music soul child's L.O.V.E...I look at all are pictures from hhawthaway and I cant help but ask why.I no god took u with him for a reason.I just wish the world got to blessed with if presents for just a lil while longer.we would of both been turning 22 this year so in February ill make sure 2 party for u.you will forever be in my heart.ur life I
