Victor Fajardo, a 15-year-old Latino youth, was shot in the 7000 block of Ethel Avenue near Madison Middle School in North Hollywood about 7:15 p.m. Friday, April 18.
According to police, Fajardo was approached by two Latino men as he walked on the sidewalk. One of the men pulled out a handgun and fired at Fajardo, authorities said.
He was taken by ambulance to Holy Cross Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:48 p.m. Police said the two men fled in a 2000 or 2004 black Ford Mustang.
