Victor Moreno, 40

Died July 12, 2011

Victor Moreno, a 40-year-old Latino, was found dead Tuesday July 12, on the 5 Freeway near the 4th Street exit in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said a passerby discovered Moreno's body and called 911.

Authorities arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene at 9:05 a.m., Winter said.

Coroner's records show Moreno died from multiple sharp and blunt-force injuries to his body.
