Wilbert Jones, 25, a black man, was shot multiple times at 1107 59th St. in South-Central Los Angeles and died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, April 22.
Police responded to an assault-with-a-deadly weapon call at about 12:35 a.m., and found him wounded in the torso next to his car in the street. He died at California Hospital. His assailants may have been driving a white car.
