William Pious

William Pious, a 23-year-old black man, was shot at 2117 E. 112th St. in Watts and died at 7:54 p.m. Feb. 21. Pious, left, was shot at about 6:16 p.m. in a drive-by shooting.

He was standing with a group of men and women from his neighborhood when he was shot. He was taken to St. Francis hospital, where he died in surgery.

Update: One suspect, a black youth, was arrested and charged in this killing.
