Died Oct. 9, 2010

William Temple, a 23-year-old Asian man, was shot and killed Saturday, Oct. 9, near Manchester Boulevard and Cedar Avenue in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Temple was standing in a liquor store parking lot early Saturday when two men approached, Inglewood police said in a statement. Seconds later, one of the suspects pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired multiple shots at Temple, fatally shooting him, police said.

The two suspects ran to a light-colored vehicle nearby and then drove south on Cedar Avenue, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call the Inglewood Police homicide section at (310) 412-5246 or the 24-hour anonymous hotline number, (888) 412-7463.

— coldt7, it happens all over the world on a daily basis. Its not unique to California.

In my city, this type of crime happens once every three or four years. Its quite rare actually.

I can't beleive it Chino. I just found out by my sister and I can't beleive you're actually gone. All I can say is that you were a cool person (a bit annoying) but funny to be around. But I do know that you were going down the wrong path, and now look at what happened, you're gone.........God Bless his parents and R.I.P you're in a better place now.

William,

You never missed my son's birthday parties ex: his baptism (where you carried him all night lol), but this year you were not here for my son's 4th birthday though you were here in spirit it would never be the same. I miss you each and everyday. Thank you for all your advice and guideness. Thank you for always been there for my son and I. As I sit here with tears running down my cheeks confused and hurt about life I'm still pushing myself hard to accomplish the goals you had set for me in paper, for I had made that promise to you before you left this world. May you rest in peace William<3
P.S
Please visit me again in my dreams!

Missing you,
Viviana and Steven<3
