William Zambrana, 47

Died Jan. 29, 2012

William Zambrana, a 47-year-old Latino, died Sunday, Jan. 29, in West Covina, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Zambrana was pronounced dead at 8:22 a.m. at a hospital in West Covina.

Zambrana, of La Puente, may have died from a gunshot wound he suffered in 2011, Winter said. The location of the shooting is unknown and the autopsy is still pending.

The coroner's office had no other information about the case.
