Mihm was acquired after the 2003-04 season from the Boston Celtics along with Chucky Atkins and Jumaine Jones in exchange for Gary Payton, Rick Fox and a future first-round draft pick.
Mihm started at center in 75 games for the Lakers in his first season and averaged 10.2 points per game in his second season with them before injuries took their toll. He played in only 41 games spread over the final two seasons of his career because of surgery on a severely sprained right ankle.
