Wiley, a 6-foot-10 backup center, was not much of an offensive threat but was solid on the boards, averaging more than seven rebounds a game during his four seasons with the Lakers

Wiley was especially good during the playoffs, averaging 11 rebounds in nine postseason games as a rookie and 14 a game during the 1965 postseason.
