Isaiah Rider won his only NBA championship with the Lakers during his one season with the team in 2000-01. He averaged 7.6 points in 67 games. He was suspended for five games in March 2001 for failing to comply with the NBA's anti-drug policy. He was also in the doghouse after he missed a team flight to New York and was late to several practices. Rider was left off the team's playoff roster. He signed as a free agent with the Denver Nuggets in October 2001 and was released after 10 games.
