Javaris Crittenton

Guard, #1

Selected by the Lakers 19th overall in the 2007 NBA draft, Crittenton appeared in 22 games during the 2007-08 season before being part of a seven-player trade with Memphis that sent Pau Gasol to the Lakers. The 6-foot-5 guard out of Georgia Tech was used sparingly by Coach Phil Jackson, averaging less than five minutes per game.

Crittenton pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation on a misdemeanor gun possession charge stemming from his confrontation with teammate Gilbert Arenas in the Washington Wizards locker room in 2009. Both players were fined and suspended by the NBA for the rest of the season.
