Jackson finished the 2005-2006 season with the Lakers, playing in only 13 games, the final 13 games of his career. He is also the last Laker to wear No. 24 before Kobe Bryant and played for 12 NBA teams in his career, tying the NBA record.

During much of his career, Jackson wore an armband with the number 419 on it. That number is the area code for Toledo, Ohio, where he was born.
