The USC graduate and Glendale native was selected by the Lakers in the third round of the 1966 draft. He appeared in 22 games in 1966-67 before being selected by the San Diego Rockets in the 1967 expansion draft. He played 10 seasons in the NBA and appeared in the 1973 All-Star game while with the Philadelphia 76ers.
