Mark Landsberger
Forward, #54
- Born May 21, 1955
- Attended Arizona State
- Coached by Jack McKinney, Pat Riley, Paul Westhead
Landsberger was a member of two NBA title teams with the Lakers, but his biggest claim to fame involves chocolate.
After a Lakers practice in Phoenix during the 1981-82 season, Landsberger joined a group of sportswriters for lunch without changing out of his team jersey. During the meal, Landsberger spilled a chocolate shake on his uniform. He did not have an extra road jersey available, so he played in his chocolate-stained uniform during the game, which was nationally televised by CBS.
