Selected by the Lakers in the fourth round of the 1971 NBA draft, Brown appeared in one game with the Lakers during the 1972-73 season. The 6-foot-11 center was waived by the team days later before signing with the Carolina Cougars of the American Basketball Assn. He retired in 1980.
