Walker was a key contributor off the bench as the Lakers completed a championship three-peat in 2002. Signed before the 2001-02 season, he lent strength and depth to the team’s front line, averaging seven rebounds and seven points a game.

Released by the Lakers after the 2002-03 season, Walker was a well-traveled player, not only playing for six NBA franchises, but also for teams in China, Korea and Syria.
