Sasha Vujacic

Guard, #18

The mercurial Vujacic, who’s come off the bench for virtually his entire Lakers career, is a shoot-first guard who dubbed himself “The Machine.” His quick trigger has both thrilled and frustrated Lakers fans who know he’ll put up a shot no matter the distance or situation.

Still, Lakers fans will always remember him fondly for coming off the bench late during Game 7 of the 2010 Finals and making two crucial free throws to seal a victory, and championship, for Los Angeles against Boston.

Vujacic set the Lakers record for three-point accuracy during the 2007-08 season, making 43.7% of his shots from beyond the arc. That season was probably his finest as a Laker as he averaged 8.8 points a game during the regular season and 8.1 in the playoffs.

On Dec. 15, 2010, the Lakers traded Vujacic and a 2011 first-round draft pick to New Jersey for Joe Smith and two future second-round draft picks.
