The 2003-04 NBA Development League most valuable player signed a one-year deal with the Lakers before the start of the 2004-05 season and played in 76 games. Coming off the bench primarily in support of starting guard Chucky Atkins, Brown’s most memorable moment came during a road loss against Atlanta when he scored a career-high 27 points in 27 minutes.
The Lakers opted not to re-sign the former McNeese State standout, who signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors and was cut before the start of the 2005-06 season. He spent the rest of his career in the development league, playing his final professional season with the Anaheim Arsenal in 2008-09.
