Tony Brown appeared in seven games with the Lakers at the start of the 1990-91 season before being put on the injured list because of a bruised right knee. He was waived by the team a week later and signed a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz toward the end of the season. Brown, who played for nine teams over seven NBA seasons, played briefly with the Clippers in the 1991-92 season before retiring at the end of the season.
