Travis Grant is one of the all-time top scorers in college basketball history, putting up 4,045 career points at Kentucky State from 1969-72. He still holds the NAIA Division I record for most field goals made in a career (1,760).

But that collegiate success did not transfer to the NBA. Drafted 13th overall by the Lakers in 1972, Grant spent just one full season with the team before leaving for the ABA, in which he played for three more seasons.

After his playing career, Grant went into teaching and coaching at the high school level.
