Travis Knight

Forward, #40

Knight, who is second on the Connecticut career blocked shot list with 179, was drafted by the Chicago Bulls but wasn't offered a contract. He went into camp with the Lakers before the 1996-97 season and had a solid rookie season, averaging 4.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game and playing in the rookie exhibition at the All-Star game.

Knight signed with Boston after the season and spent one year with them before being traded back to the Lakers for Tony Battie. He led the Lakers in rebounding in 1994-95 (8.2) and 1995-96 (9.3) before he was part of a four-team trade that brought Glen Rice to the Lakers.
