A member of four NBA title teams, Vern Mikkelsen won all four as a member of the Minneapolis Lakers, teaming with George Mikan to form one of the most intimidating frontcourts in NBA history.
Mikkelsen averaged 14.4 points and 9.4 rebounds in his career and was elected to the basketball Hall of Fame in 1994.
