1967-68 Season

Record: 52-30, second place in Western Division

Butch van Breda Kolff became the team's coach and the Lakers moved into the Forum. Elgin Baylor led the team in scoring (26.0 points per game) and rebounding (12.2 per game) as Jerry West missed 31 games because of leg injuries.

Playoffs: The Lakers easily advanced to the NBA Finals, setting up another meeting with the Boston Celtics. Once again, the Celtics won.
