Great school with wonderful and caring teachers. Young teachers are particularly creative in their teaching skills - making them fun and enjoyable for the kids. There are exceptions of course. There are some who don't fall into the wonderful category but that's to be expected. Some have some quirkiness about them. My goodness...let the kids wear their jackets in the computer lab! It gets cold in there.

Leal's API score is not directly a product of the school's program or the quality of teachers there. There are some exceptional teachers. I would say that a combination of parents' values and socioeconomic level has more to do with it. Kids who are raised in a safe and healthy environment where education is valued just do well in school.(My kids say the school lunch is horrible!)
