Three comments about Nathaniel Narbonne Senior High
The school is alright for an LAUSD high school. Bottom line is, you can do well if you study there and there are plenty of AP classes for advanced kids. Sports programs are successful at Narbonne also. I find people like to blame administrators and teachers for their own shortcomings. Every year there are a handful of kids from Narbonne that go to UC and Ivy League schools so it can be done.
i was a student at narbonne high and wanted to give my opinion. i have been there for four years and i personally think that narbonne is not the best high school to go. i graduated from that school this year thanks to my mother. if it wasnt for her i would still be there.
the first counsler i had in that school didnt bother to help me out with my classes, gave me wrong classes after i told her a few times that i dont need certain classes.
some of the teachers dont really bother to help out the students. The subs dont even bother to do much either.
There was too much fights and problems about race.
This is my opinion of Narbonne High.
Parent:
The percentage of chemistry scores Advanced/Proficient dropped 9% this year? why?
Also, the SAT scores seem quit low...are they doing enough SAT prep
