    Two comments about Palms Middle

Unfortunately this school falls into Program Improvement status. Only our Special Education students did not meet their goals. All our other groups made all goals in English Language Arts and Math. In fact our school increased by 34 points on the API from the previous year. Nothing at Palms has changed with regard to the rigorous curriculum. Palms Middle School staff and teachers are dedicated to providing a supportive educational atmosphere challenging all of our students.

I think the school could use a bit more improvement.I think maybe people who live around the neighborhood who are wealither should donate more time and money in improving the school. I think people rely that it's a westside school. Just because it not in downtown it does not mean its endanger of underperforming. I think the school, faculty, students, parents and LAUSD should put more attention and effort into this school. I would hate for this school to fall like the rest in LA county.
