      Three comments about Palmdale High

Former student. There is a lot of favoritism amongst the teachers and staff regarding male and female students. Often female teachers will seem to be favoring the female students. These students are often let be when in trouble, or given other special privelages. Also the security guards are corrupt. I know of instances when they have confiscated marijuana and alcohol, but not reporting it, and later using it.

Former student. I believe if palmdale has more teacher and more after school programs test score will raise. During my years at PHS I got to see teacher have a hard time with students. As for the favoristism I teacher do have feelings but when it came to giving the grades they were fair. I used to be a TA for teacher i watch them help people pass and i seen them when students decide they didn't have to listen.

Palmdale High School is not that bad of a school, it is a very diverse school. That offers excellant magnet programs like Palmdale Health Careers, Falcon Tech, and Auto Academy. I think it really depends on the student that goes there. For every student is a different experience and the choices the students make. Most of the teachers at Palmdale High School really care for the students and try to help them in the most they can. I agree with Lisa Wesselmann, if Palmdale High School had more afterschool programs, there would be high test scores. Although the school campus isnt the best.
