    One comment about Panorama Elementary

Panorama is a great school and the teachers are doing great. The only issue I would underline is the fact that many, many parents are actually holding their children back before they go into school. The reason why this creates a problem to those parents who did not hold back their kids is because it skews the statistics. My child was in a grade in which the majority of the students where older than him by a year because their parents had made the decision to hold them back; this in turn caused my child to appear to be "under the preferred range" for students his grade not age. I believe the statistics should reflect progress in relation to age and not grade. We decided to hold back our child this year, only because it is going to be progressively worse for him if the statistics keep showing progress to grade and not age ratio.

Also, how many communities do not advocate holding their children back and are adversely affected by it? The statistics need to show progress to age not to grade.
