Three comments about William Howard Taft Senior High

I live in Woodland Hills, 91364, and live closer to Calabasas High than Taft. How does Calabasas High rank compared to Taft.

The two top schools in the LAUSD was always Taft High School and Pacific Palisades. One year Pali, the next year Taft. My, have times changed.

As a S.A.S. Senior at Taft, I can confidently say that the education is offered. Of course, there are some great teachers and some awful teachers. Most of the problems that my peers and I have encountered, however, are with the administrators. The current principal, Mrs. Thomas, is somewhat of a tyrant, especially if you try to accelerate or enhance your or your child's high school career. I've even had an administrator tell me that I was not her "priority", even though I'm a honors and AP student with good grades. For those who decide not to challenge authority and are fine with accepting the status quo, this school may be the one for you.
