I was truly blessed. He didn't do drugs, he didn't gangbang, he didn't disrespect us, he didn't drink or smoke cigarettes. I couldn't have asked for a better son. My son is a hero, and he's my soldier, and I'll miss him.
— Charlotte Davis, mother
Davis' youngest child, a daughter, was born two weeks after he deployed to Iraq. He never met or held her.

Nine memories of Anthony J. Davis Jr.
The children of First Lutheran Church Say Yes center in Long Beach have made a Memory Stone memorial for Anthony and are praying for his family and friends.
I did not know this man, but I had several family members attend Jordan High as my brother lives a few blocks away. Anthony is another example of the special people that came from that school who has made an impact on my life, as well as others. I believe he holds his daughter every time she needs him. Thank you, Sergeant Davis!
I did not know this man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I knew this man and everything they said about him is true. He stayed next door to me for about 7 years. We played together
as teenagers and even competed over Michelle (his wife) she stayed next door too. Ace I still bump that Tupac homie!
I never had the honor of meeting Anthony, I have know his dad Anthony SR. For over 10 years, he also is a very nice and honorable man. My prayers and love go out to this family. I want to Thank You for giving America Anthony he is a great man who gave his life so we all can live free and safe. THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS THIS WHOLE FAMILY!!
Too few times do we reflect on those who have sacrificed to so that we can retain the freedoms that so many in this country take for granted. I look at the photo and sadness befalls me because this young man is an example of the finest our community could develop.
The parents as well as the alumni of Jordan have lost far more than any consanguineous group can imagine, in that Anthony represented the best of the best.
Prayers are continually made to bless the family in that their sacrifice lingers longer that any others.
I've known Anthony's father for several years now. I just want to add that as long as I live, Anthony's life will be remembered and his presence felt. I think about him at the most unexpected times. I wish the best for his family and those closest to him. I thank him and those who served with him for their service and sacrifice. This I share from the bottom of my heart .
If you are family of Sgt. Davis or can pass them a message requesting contact to me Laura Herzog 714-904-0253 or laura@honoringourfallen.org for an upcoming memorial event. Please contact me as soon as possible.
THANK YOU!!!!!!! For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more"
