I really feel for his mom and dad. It just amazes you that these fine young men are willing to make the sacrifice and to put themselves in harm's way for us. I'm proud to have known Brandon and I honor his service.

Dewey knew he wanted to join the Marine Corps right after high school graduation. He enlisted early in his senior year and spent weekends conducting fitness training to prepare for boot camp.

Dewey was one of a kind. I met him in 1999 on a blind date with Jeannie. There was never a sad face around him, he always knew how to make you laugh. Our friendship flourished his senior year. So many wonderful memories of him. I will always miss you dewey. Semper Fi
