We thought that by giving him the most normal home, it would somehow make everything OK for him.
— Rex Davis, foster Father
Cutter was in foster care from the age of 6 and bounced around from group home to group home. He finally found a family with the Davises. His foster parents were told Cutter was electrocuted while trying to repair his tent's coolant system.

Four memories of Brian K. Cutter
It would've been an honour to know you personally.
You grew up with so much pain, yet you took your pain and chose to heal others through it.
YOU ARE MY HERO...Thank you so much for your service to our country.
Pvt Cutter, thank you for your service to defend the US. Sad that you have departed at a very young age.
May you rest in Peace and God Bless.
Mr Davis, thank you for being a foster parent to this HERO!
semper fi marine! I too thank you. Ms. Jones said it all, as thank you for leading in showing others through your hard work, and unselfish manner. let god be with you always.
I do believe I went to Middle School with Brian. If it is the same Brian, we had a ton of classes together in 7th grade. He was always so sweet and patient...I sat behind him in one class and poor guy was surrounded by giggling girls, but he never got irritated once. He was a great, honorable guy even at that young age.
