One day, when she’s old enough to understand she’ll have some stories and memories to remember him by.
    — Betty Hall, mother, on notes people have written to her 2-year old granddaughter

The military seemed a perfect fit for Hall who enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He was one of five soldiers killed when a suicide bomber driving a truck full of explosives hit their vehicle in Mosul, Iraq. His mother said Army commander told her that by ordering his soldiers to fire on the suicide bomber’s truck, her son likely saved many lives by preventing the attacker from entering the police station compound.

Bryan was one of the best friends that I have ever had in my life. We where roomates while we where stationed at FortCampbell KY. I got of the Army 1998 but never forgot the friendships that made. It was truely my pleasure to have know him and have served with him. My prayers and condolenses go out his wife and family. He will be missed by many. It has been said that God takes the best ones to be home with him in heaven and that wrings truer now more than ever.
With all my prayers and a very hevy heart.

SSG Hall was a great American/Soldier. We worked together on the AIMSS committee and he was a go to Soldier. You could always count on him to represent himself, his family and his country with honour and pride. God bless

SFC Hall was an amazing soldier, husband, and father. We are still in disbelief he is no longer here with us. Rachel and Addison will always have all our love and support.

Bryan was my cousin and though we never met, I feel honored to have had him as part of our family. It takes tremendous strength and courage to be a SOLDIER, and I THANK BRYAN AND EVERY OTHER SOLDIER that has and continues to defend the freedom and safety of the United States. It is because of them that we can rest our heads at night and not be in fear. My heart aches for my Aunt and Uncle and the rest of Bryan's Family and I pray that they find peace in knowing that Bryan is with our Lord and that they will meet him in Heaven again someday. SFC Bryan E. Hall is my hero, friend, and older and only brother. There are no words to describe how extraordinary he was. He touched so many lives with his kind heart and wonderful sense of humor. He always found a way to crack jokes, even if the jokes were on me:) Everyday since his death I've lived with the motto, "I will honor him everyday through my actions." My class (6th grade) is aware of the sacrfices they (men and women) make on a daily basis to protect our FREEDOM. So in honor of my brother/hero, SFC Bryan E. Hall and to all who serve, THANK YOU for our special gift, FREEDOM....

SFC HALL WAS A GREAT, PERSON, HUMANBEING, FATHER, HUSBAND AND FRIEND. THROUGH HIS LEADERSHIP WE LEARNED HOW TO WORK WITH ONE ANOTHER IN AIMSS. I WILL DEARLY MISS HIS HUNTING ADVENTURES AND WORDS OF WISDOM. TO THE HALL FAMILY, YOUR LOSS HAS BEEN A GREAT ONE, BUT YOUR GAIN WILL FOR EVER BE GREATER. MY RESPECTS AND ADMIRATION TO THE HALL FAMILY AND SFC HALL.

I was Brian's Seargent for a time while we were stationed together at Ft. Campbell..He was a "go to" guy" without question..He never complained and I could always count on him getting the job done..He really turned me onto bass fishing too and I think about those days of us fishing that small lake every now and again with a smile..good times..I now bass fish at least once a week..I'm walking a mile in our annual memorial walk this August in his honor..He was a good soldier and man and will be missed

Bryan Hall was a life long friend of mine. I first meet him in kindergarten. He was my closest friend growing up for many, many years. Sadly we lost contact over the years. I will always remember him and forever miss him.

It's hard to believe that it has been two years since we lost Bryan. We think of him every day. His little girl is the "light of our lives," and through her, he lives on. Thank you to everyone who have been so kind to us, his family. This community has been wonderful in supporting us and honoring SFC Bryan Hall.
