He always wanted to be a man of service.
— Stacy Willey, sister
Willey was with his sister in the delivery room when she gave birth to her younger daughter, buoying her spirits with characteristic humor. "He kept saying, 'It's OK, I'm not looking,' " she said, laughing at the memory. "But he was there for me the whole time." His family had a tradition of military service and after Sept. 11, the pull of military service became almost irresistible.

He was my soldier and our Company's comrade who knew the meaning of selfless service; a dedicated soldier who exemplified duty, honor, country.

To the family of Sgt. Willey.
I thank You Sgt. Willey for your ultimate sacrifice..."Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."

I am trying to reach someone from the family. There is a Tribute & Remembrance ride this summer and we would be honored to include Sgt. Willey.
