Evan J. Mooldyk, 47

Served with him in the Army National Guard. Worked with him at Unisource Worldwide, Inc. Knew him and loved him like a Brother. Evan was among the finest men I have ever known in my lifetime. I am honored to have had that priveledge! God Bless you always, Evan!

Evan and I served as fellow staff officers in Iraq. Evan was one of America's best. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace buddy.

Evan and I were friends and co-workers. His sense of humor, intelligence, concern, and work-ethic were extraordinary qualities that we all admired in him.

Evan's character and love for his family, friends, and Country was what inspired those of us who knew him.

We send our gratitude for Evan's service and friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with Leslie, Kelly, Connor and Quinn

I don't know this soldiers as I'm just visiting the website. I thank him and his family for his dedication to our county. Thank you for keeping America free and protecting our beliefs. It's because heroes like you my very young daughter will be able to live freely in this wonderful country. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! RIP

Evan, you are the most amazing, honorable, loving, caring man, with incredible integrity that I have ever known. I'm so honored to have you in my life. Can not express the horrific loss of such a great man. God must have needed you now to have taken you so soon from us. You will forever be loved and never be forgotten.

Dear Mrs. Mooldyk and family,

Please except my condolence. I am very sorry for your lost. Please read Revelation 21:3,4 and in those verses our Heavenly Father talks about a wonder hope for the future. May the God of Comfort be with you and your family. He loves and cares for you and your family.

I worked side by side with Evan in Afghanistan last year. His tireless efforts to make things better for the troops inspired everyone around him. He was a great man and a great friend, and I pray that God has a special place in heaven for soldiers like him.

Godspeed Evan, I will never forget you.

I have been unable to write any comments about my son before this. He was and is so special to me. Evan was such a straight arrow in all things. I asked him many times where he was going and he always said, with a smile, "Mom, if I told you, I would have to kill you" and of course, would not tell me anything the government told him. As a child, if we had an appointment at 10am, he would be pacing the floor and trying to rush me out way before the time. I miss him! I love him, my son!
