    To: James's Family,

Please except my condolences. I didn't know James, but I'm sure he was a nice young man and you were very proud of him. I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and according to the Bible at Psalms 46:9 soon there will be an end to wars. It say: "He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth." I think you would agree with me that, that is a wonderful hope for the future. When you see Jehovah's Witnessses please feel free to ask any questions you may have and they will be happy to answere them for you from the Bible. May peace and comfort be with you.

James was a close friend of mine in high school. He was like a brother to me. We almost enlisted together. Even though it has been many years since we have spoken, I miss him very much and mourn his death.

    Song 111
    He Will Call
    (Job 14:13-15)
    1. Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
    Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
    Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
    (Chorus)
    2. Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
    Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay,
    From death he will awaken.
Then we’ll come to see all that life can be:
    Paradise eternally.
    (CHORUS)
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
    And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.
