I didn't know SPC Jesus Flores. However, I do want to give my condolence to all of his family. I do know how much it feels like to lose someone so dearly loved, in that same way. In addition, I would like to thank him for sacrificing his life to protect other's....... THANK YOU JESUS!!!! YOU AND YOUR FAMILY WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY PRAYERS!!!
JUN JUN as we all call him here in Malaybalay City, Philippines...We were friends since birth. When we heard the news that he was killed in service of the US Army, we were all shocked...We couldn't believe it since he was just here in Malaybalay 3 weeks ago...Jun Jun, kung aha man ka karon, duha lang akong masulti. I did not know Jesus, but he was an American, helping the free world and he lived here in La Mirada. I thank him and I pray for his family. I am so sorry.
Tho I didnot know SPC Jesus Flores I still feel some of the pain. He came from the town I grew up in and its sad when we lose a native son. Jesus I am so sorry that you will not go to that football game or dance with your children if I had the power to change what has happened I would. I can't even begin to feel or know what your family is going through right now I can only imagine what it would be like if I lost my son. God bless you for being who you were and I am grateful for the decisions you've made. Rest In Peace you will not be forgotten.
I had the pleasure of meeting jesus a couple of years back, he told me to pursue my navy enlistment. I offer my deepest condolences to the Flores family. I remember me and Flores while on the Uss Kitty Hawk. We were both on the flight deck and man we hated it with a passion. We both wanted to get out of that department. A real cool guy to be around and he knew how to have fun and not mix it with business. Condolence to Flores Family and Friends.
Flo used to hang out in our house in Yokosuka Japan when he was still in the Navy. He doesn't talk that much. Just love to play online/PC games on his laptop. We also came from the same province in Bukidnon Philippines. We will miss you Flo! May you rest in peace...

he love the army so much, he said it change him a lot, responsibility, honor, a better person...he went over there to carry his cross, he believes what he was fighting for and i believe him too... to defend the weak and to save lives......my condolences to the people he loves, to the hearts he filled. he's my cousin, my brother, my friend.
I met Jun-jun when he first migrated to the States at around age 12 with his sibblings; such a sweet and meek kid who loved to play video games.

I believe I have not met him, altho our family have close ties w/ his parents. His father is a very decent man, the mother a sweet lady, the family is full of humility and virtue. I remember the beautiful singing voices they had. I'm not surprised that he is greatly missed. Rest in peace JunJun...the love of God now surround you through our Lord Jesus Christ.

met "Flo" as his kitty hawk companions call him, while i visited my children in japan sometime 2005. he was the silent type, head phones on, browsing on his laptop... it sadden me to know he is gone, he is one of the bisdak boys who hang out in my children's home....one of my so called "adopted" kids... his death is not meaningless, it symbolizes our love for freedom, our quest for peace...my prayers and condolences to the bereaved family....
