He went down there, not to get killed in combat, you know, but to get killed in his own barracks. Was a shame, ya know, I mean.
    — Paul Menchaca, uncle, to KFSN-TV in Fresno

Carrillo was one of two soldiers allegedly killed by a fellow American serviceman following a heated argument in Fallouja, west of Baghdad. Military spokesman Col. Barry Johnson said an argument erupted among the soldiers, and Spc. Neftaly Platero was suspected of grabbing his weapon and opening fire on his colleagues. Platero was arraigned Sept. 12, 2011 on two counts of premeditated murder and one count of attempted premeditated murder, and is awaiting trial in military court.

My Baby Brother Is Gone - Who is responsible? Will we ever know the real truth?

I am sorry for the lost of your loved one. Do you know that the Bible gives us hope for our dead loved ones? At John 5:28,29 is where we find that hope. Soon Revelation 21:3,4 will be here. Jehovah God did not mean for people to die. Unfortunely we die because Adam and Eve sinned and it brought about death, that's in Romans 5:12. Please except my condolence. May the God of peace and comfort be with you.

He was a great man. He always was talking about his wife and kids. Always drilling me about the Army. One of the few soldiers who applied themselves to learn there job to the fullest.
