He said everything was just demolished. He told me that his soldiers would never forget what they saw.
    — Conrad Bolor, on a letter his brother wrote home after a battle

One of six children, Bolor was raised by a single mother after their father died. His twin brother Keith and younger brother Rocky also joined the Army right after high school. They all saw military service as a way to pay for college.

I served as a reservist in SFC Bolor's platoon from 1994 to 1999 after discharging from active duty from Ft. Benning. During my military career, I have met many outstanding individuals and leaders who have shaped me as the person I am today. Without a doubt, SFC Bolor is one of those individuals. It was an honor and a privilege to have known him and he was such a great leader and a mentor to me. I miss you brother, and may God bless you and your family.
