America lost a great son, and an even better soldier. To have pride like that, to go finish what your brother started, is beyond the call of duty.
— Keith Peranick, friend of the Hubbard brothers
Hubbard joined the Army after his brother, Jared, and childhood friend Jeremiah Baro were killed by a roadside bomb in November 2004. Hubbard and 13 other soldiers were killed in a helicopter crash that his oldest brother, Jason, an Army sergeant, witnessed.

Two memories of Nathan C. Hubbard
Nate and I never met, but i come from a town in western massachusetts, which was impacted by a death of one of the soldiers on 8.22.07 having 2 brothers fighting in the war. i hope this doesnt happen to me. I do know that Nate and Jared are watching over all the soldiers who are brothers from heaven making sure that their ok. as the song by puff daddy quotes "on that morning" i know ill see your face, thats what i see i just see 4 young guys looking down from heaven. thats a good thing.
THANK YOU!!!!!!! For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more"
