    This is a person with great character, integrity and honesty...One thing, and I find this especially touching, is that hours before his death, he went out of his way to administer medical care for an injured Iraqi citizen. He successfully arranged a medevac for this man.

    Olson was an only child, according to his San Francisco Chronicle obituary. He married his high school sweetheart, Nicole. Their daughter was 10 months old when he was killed.
