They [Army recruiters] offered him vocational training as a helicopter mechanic. I told him that would be good because I was a mechanic all my life.

Seven memories of Ramon Mora Jr.

    Dear Mora Family,

Please except my condolences. I saw some of your son's obituary in the paper and then I hear about it on the News. He was so young. The Bible says at Revelation 21:4 "He(Almighty God Jehovah) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more . The former things have passed away". This gives all of us a wonderful hope for the future. May Jehovah God be with you.

Please accept my condolences on behalf of myself and my family. I want to let you know you had a very brave courageous son. Words cannot express how thankful I am to have someone like Ramon defend our country. He will forever be in our hearts. May God bless you and your family.

Raymond Mora Jr. was a great friend and a great man. I first met this great person in 6th grade Grace Yokley Middle School. He was always the one that would love to make you laugh and always be sure of his choices. He was a great friend and the last words I got from him was. "Your going to be dodgin IED's more than anything just remember that when you come out here to always watch your back". The last time I saw him was 4th of July 2010 just 3 and a half weeks before I left for Basic Training at Fort Benning, GA. Just know that he was a great man and also a great friend who cared and loved everyone in his life. And to the Mora Family your son is as far as I know my guardian angel for when I deploy. Raymond we miss you man.

    Mora Family,

Raymond was a great guy, and a wonderful boyfriend! I met Ray at Walgreens one day with my friend Emily.. She introduced us and ever since that day we talked for hours.. And then he would always come over to my house and help my mom and i with whatever.. He never sat still for more then a min. He always had to be either helping someone or just doing something! He was and still is the only guy i fell in love with! I know you may not member me but just know im always praying for your family and him! God bless you and your family Raymond Mora Jr.!
