I looked up to him my whole life. He would tell me to never give up on anything you believe in.
    — Diego Abad, brother

Abad, the oldest of seven children, loved being a Marine. But his family said he had been looking forward to his future. He planned to be a firefighter, go to college and marry his girlfriend, who was pregnant when he was killed in combat in Iraq. "He wanted to have a child in case he never came back," his father said. "We’re going to be able to have a memory of him now."

    To: Robert's family and friends:

I am sorry to hear about Robert. The Bible makes the promise: Your dead ones will live... They will rise up." And the Bible also says: The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."-Isaiah 26:19; Psalms 37:29. There will come a time when there will be no more wars. Jehovah God makes that promise at Psalms 46:9. Please except my condolence.

I've lived in Bell Gardens since 1972, my two sons Willie and Reuben also graduated from BGHS.
I become overwhelmed with emotion such a young life sacrificed to keep our freedom.
His memory will live on in Bell Gardens forever. God bless his soul and God bless his family.

A song of hope and comfort:

    He Will Call (Song 111)
    (Job 14:13-15)

    1. Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
    Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
    Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:
    (Chorus)
    2. Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
    Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay,
    From death he will awaken.
Then we’ll come to see all that life can be:
    Paradise eternally.
    (CHORUS)
He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
    And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.
    ( John 6:40; 11:11, 43; Jas. 4:14.)

Hope in a new world without war, and suffering. REVELATION 21:4
and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
