I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.
    — Michael Diamond, brother, who received a stem cell transplant thanks to his twin brother, Sean.

The Department of Defense reported that Diamond died Feb. 15, in As Salam, Iraq, when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle. He served three tours in Iraq. When his mother visited Diamond last year before he began his last tour, she asked him, “Why are you doing this? You’re getting kind of old.” He replied, “Because they still need the help, Mom.”

Four memories of Sean D. Diamond

My husband was a loving person. He had the most beautiful heart and soul. He was a caring father and dedicated husband. He never forgot us. He would call everyday or when he couldn't he would write. A life without him is now a life with sadness. He was my heart and soul. We will deeply miss him but we will never ever forget him. I love you, Sean and we'll be together again. All my love, Lora

    Lora-

My heart breaks for you. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you and your children. May God bless you and your family in these really hard times.
