If you knew him, you were definitely fortunate. I talked to one of his sergeants recently, and he said if he had 100 of Travis, he'd be set.

In the summer before his death, Woods was credited with saving the lives of several fellow Marines when their vehicle was hit by a recoilless rifle round. The mission on which Woods died was supposed to have been his last before returning home.

    Can't believe it's been a year!
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory NO ONE CAN STEAL!

You are always with us in everything we do even if it doesn't show,
But what it means to lose you, no one will ever know!
You wished no one farewell, had no time to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why.

You will never be forgotten because you left so many memories, pictures and beautiful drawings you did in the past,
And to us who love you dearly, these things will always LAST!

To us, you are someone SPECIAL, who had so many things you still wanted to do!

If Tears could build a staircase & memories a lane, your family & friends would walk all the way to Heaven to bring you back again!!!!
LOVE & MISS YOU SO MUCH, Jama............

THANK YOU!!!!!!! For your sacrifice, words do little to describe our sincere gratitude. However, There is a hope for a future where such wonderful people will not have to die in the wars of the world. ISAIAH 2:4 And he will certainly render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war anymore....REV 21:3,4-"death will be no more"
